Orecchiette with basil

  • 2 clove garlic

Cook the orecchiette al dente with plenty of slightly salted boiling water. Five minutes before the pasta is ready, heat the oil in a pan, add the finely chopped garlic and, after a couple of minutes, the walnut kernels also chopped.Brown for a few minutes then add the chopped basil, season with a pinch of salt and a grind of pepper, mix well add the pasta, which you will have drained al dente. Fold the pasta in the sauce, remove the pan from the heat, sprinkle with parmesan and serve warm.
