Spaccatella with sweet peppers

Bring to the boil a large saucepan with water. Peel and crush the garlic, deseed the chilli and remove the stalk, then rinse and dry them. Heat the oil in a pan with the garlic, then remove it, add the chillies and fry over a medium heat for 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes, the basil, a pinch of salt and pepper and simmer for 10 minutes. Salt the boiling water, cook the pasta dente, mix it with the sauce and serve.
