Rotelle with fresh cherry tomatoes

  • 300 g Pugliese cherry tomatoes
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 small bunch basil
  • salt and pepper

Peel, rinse and finely chop the shallots, rinse the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. Rinse and chop the basil. Heat the oil in a pan, add the shallots and fry until soft but not golden.Add the cherry tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and simmer until cooked stirring from time to time. In the meanwhile cook the pasta and drain it al dente, mix it with the sauce, sprinkle with basil and serve.
