Toss the ditali in a saucepan of abundant boiling salted water; once the water is brought to the boil again toss the peas in it.Cook the pasta al dente. In the meanwhile cut the ham into tiny cubes, all of the same size. Remove the pips and cut the zest off the slices of lemon (cut in the central part) and cut the pulp into small cubes.Once the pasta is cooked, drain it with the peas and mix all the other ingredients in a bowl. Add the pasta and the peas then serve the seasoned pasta either warm or cold.
